I have to say I am amazed! How do you switch between the overlay and the DMD? I presume it's probably switched in the script, in which case, I probably wouldn't understand it.

I have 5 overlays and one DMD
And almost 3,000 frames requiring 3 of the overlays (1,000 max in an overlay , which is FP limit).

The other 2 overlays are for superimposing simple bonus numbers

The DMD is use for score and missing fonts

Each overlay /DMD is assigned it's own miniplayfield
and I scale them, move them and toggle between them with miniplayfield code.

The miniplayfield code iis simple and is basically setting scale = 0 in the overlays I want to hide at any given time..

I am still getting caught in the vortex of adding more stuff...
1. Fine-tuned Drac Attack with "Drac Damaged" Bonus DMD's and "Drac Defeated"
2. Added Full Moon Fever Wolf Chasing Girl DMD's
3. Working on other "Static" DMD notifications of various things
4. Bugs keep popping up....
5. the main color DMD that will not be included is Mummy Mayhem (so I will leave the monochome one)

I guess there is no way to make a HUD. ...Or you might just place the overlays below the DMD.

Yes, you are right !
This mod will be for non hud users.. which should include Cabinet users that have a backglass monitor, VR users and desktop users that use backglass views.

Hud users will have the monochrome dmd only.

To have colorDMDs on the hud, you are right I could create a version where the overlays and DMDs are superimposed and I use "FadeIn" and "Fadeout" comands BUT the fading process is delayed and the ovlerlays /DMDs are not scaleable as HUD stuff cannot be grabbed in a "miniplayfield" .

So we will need two versions ultimately....

I have yet to test VR and Cabinet mode with this current mod but it should work well...
we will see... :?
