After Rav fixes (assuming something is wrong), we'll have to test it to make sure the versions of the XML file that are saved to the script work correctly also.

@blue:
Fixed: Ball Mass and Ball Radius will not have values from previous table. Default values are restored.
v226
https://www.ravarcade.pl/beta/BAM.dll

For weeked i will put here helper script function with some ball possition, move, flipper params processing. It will make easier decisions how to set flipper params. Ball speed may be not best option.

Awesome, thanks Rav. Exactly what I was wanting. :)

If you can, I need specifically the ability to force the ball movement from 0 to 90 degrees. I will be using this mainly for a trapped ball with a flipper, and using a variable omega value with theflipper depending on how long you "flick" the keypress and then release. A very very quick flick of the flipper button will send the ball to actually roll up the flipper lane, while delaying the "flick" of the key will cause the ball to instead hit and bounce of the bottom slingshot post. I will also be trying out a couple things with the flipper tips as well. This is for Bally type flippers only, not for Williams

EDIT: I tested Georges theory about the xml not updating, and I can confirm as I have the same problem. I am using a new modified bumper system, with bulbs and em kickers replacing the stock FP bumper object. I had a very high omega and when I dropped the omega to a very low number, the game did not use the lower values. I had to exit out and then reload FP/BAM before I got the proper omega that I had set. I should mention my physics are in the script editor and NOT a external xml file.

Thanks Rav !
blue , I tried your flipper omegas in monster Bash in my office computer and they seem to work quite well...

I also tweaked the orbit
Lanes so they are easier to hit now

Just don't set the values for the flippers in the XML file to 0 or you will regret it.

Ya , there is likely a range for all XML params that FP will process. We discover those when we tweak. Omega of 0 likely is one of them (that's basically the same as flipper.solenoidoff)

I suppose you are right but the flippers perform differently when you use a XML file than you do not use one. It is the reason I tried setting the values to 0.

It will be cool to see what all the possibilities and limitations are , probably lots of bugs to squash.
We are likely step on a few mines along the way :)

Really, I seem to hit a mine every minute. Sigh.

Happy my settings actually worked well. Once Rav releases his latest masterpiece, I'm pretty sure there will be some big changes to those settings, as he is right, it's not just ball speed. Still good fix as it is.
