is it possible to offset a display segment? my aim is to have a 2 digit counter display using a translite display segment ie mounted vertically but on the area between the translite/backglass box and the table playfield as shown in the pic. I want to offset the display forward 20mm out from the backbox in the direction of the lower arrow. can it be done?

In a simple way, just no.
With BAM and mini playfield, yes.

I tried it with mp and couldn't grab a segment
A DMD can be grabbed...

I am reasonably sure there is a way to make 2 overlays look like a 2 digit segmented display. It takes some special script but it can be done (it gets really complicated if you want to display score this way). I have no clue how to do to code it but I have seen it on "The Hungary Dead" and other tables. It seems like "Dragon's Keep" does it too.

...And you can rotate an overlay 90 degrees with miniplayfield.

You don't need overlay: just put a segment display on a mini playfield and rotate it (mini playfield) 90 degrees.

SLAMT1LT resolved it using "Overlay" in "Back To The Future v.114".
