an EM style table I am building has a vari-target. It's working fine except when it gets hit it leaves an image of where it was pushed back to after it springs back. I have highlighted the problem in the pic below. as you can see, it looks like there is two targets! but the back image is just a ghost. How can I stop this ghost image?

problem is solved. cause: my stupidity. somehow I had two vari-targets on the table in exactly the same position, and only one was scripted to return. It seems the game animates the hit regardless. I really should not drink and edit lol

It is pretty easy to do that when you copy and paste something. It usually pastes directly on top of the original object and you may not even notice it is there. You have to click on the object and move it to see if you have 2 copies.
