another BAM beta (v216):

FP extracts FPM to disk before it can load it. You can sometimes see "FPTMP$$$.fpm" in FP dir.
New BAM version will prevent creation of this file on disk. All that data are keeped in memory.
Result:
- lower disk usage
- little faster table load time (visible on slow disks)

BTW. Did everybady missed shadows on playfield? It is now available. See first post in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=86&t=6656

Rav,

I tried your demo table for the shadow maps. It crashed about 3 times before I was able to play it. The ball stuttered badly during game play. When I opened the BAM menu, the menu options changed very slowly when pressing the arrow keys.

After playing your demo table, I started playing another table. Something appeared to have gotten corrupted on BAM because the BAM menu was opening and closing whenever I pressed the flipper keys. On one occasion, the demo table appeared once when pressing keys on a different table that I loaded. I had a back up copy of BAM and restored it. Everything returned to normal after performing the restoration.

You did not give me any clue why it works diverent than on my 2 computers.
OS, gfx card model, gfx card drivers may help.

Sounds like you are running 2 instances of FP at once. I don't uderstand your description.

I closed the demo table for the shadow maps but it may have remained open somehow. BAM was completely messed up. I had to install it again.

For some reason it seems I am the one that always has the problems. Anyway, I tried it again and it crashed. Just the demo table crashes. For some reason, it acts like I don't have enough memory. I haven't had it crash for any of the other table I have played. Here is my crash report:

This version should fix error from your crash report.

I tested on Win 10 / GTX 660 and drivers 388.13
All works fine, so problem is elsewhere.
