Like many I discovered mame and a few months later found FP.
So now I'm building a hybrid.
I emailed a guy on Craig's List looking for old pinball machines. I asked him to let me know if he ever got one that was too far gone. A few weeks later he emailed and said he had one.
The fun begins...!

Are you thinking of adding a real DMD?

Probably not on the dmd. There's plenty of room for one... I'll have to think on that...

Don't think about getting a DMD, just do it. Trust me, it is worth it's weight in gold and is just as much fun to look at as the table is to play. I can't stress enough how awesome a real DMD is.

Hmmm... I need more convincing. Does the actual dmd display anything different than the dmd on the translite? I've been moving dmds around the translite finding good spots on most tables... I guess it would help fill some space on my backglass. The monitor I bought fits perfectly but 4:3 woulda been a lot better.
thoughts. ..?

I was always a little freaked out seeing cab builders taking their new tv's out of the cases. I was going to suck it up and do it when I saw these new breeds with very small bezels. After much searching, I found this Westinghouse 39" that fits PERFECTLY in the cab which is 20.5". Highly recomend!! The Dell is for the backglass.
