I'm just now hearing about this for the first time after a prolonged absence and this is some exciting stuff! Great progress so far and It'll really be something else to see a program capable of playing FP tables with VPinMame support!
Most exciting to me is the possibility of new physics and the lighting modes which were discussed. Also, because I play all my tables & DMD's on one single rotated monitor... as it is now I can almost never see the DMD in FP. Never really figured out why it doesn't work, but, it just shows up blank.
However, with this new player & the capability to use the roms with VpinMame that will no longer be a problem for me! So that is really exciting, because there is just something about not being able to see your score while you are playing a game that sucks some of the fun out of it. Maybe not the fun, but, the excitement of knowing you are about to set a new record, etc.
Keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck. I'll see what I can do about making a donation, nothing too extravagant, but, hopefully I can contribute $20. (I'm poor, lol).

thanks wahreez for your interest !
I hope this project will bring you what you wish.
No need for more money as the donation process is closed as there are enough funds collected .
Why not starting here another one in order to offer me a pinball wizard controller ? lol

Did someone say we would skip the VB Script and be able to write C# in the FP editor? That would be pretty awesome. Will we be able to access any extra object properties in our code? Such as ball.velocity (vector), ball.trajectory (vector)? I can think of all kind of cool things we could come up with if that is possible. It would made things like changing the direction of a kicker so much easier.
Other questions: Is there a name for this project yet? Is there a place where I can post my 10,000 feature requests? Can put textures on the balls? Are there any plans to eventually make an editor? I find FP's very lacking. Can we help somehow?

hi rooter , i already replace FP script by a c# one and the engine compiles and runs it when loading. I'm trying to make it as near as possible as VP scripting . All objects parameters ( from size , position , rotation to rigidbody properties,texture,shader,etc..) will be customizable by scripting. Here is a good start if you want to look at what kind of parameters can be accessed at runtime with unity: http://unity3d.com/support/documentatio ... index.htmlAt that time this project is called VPM3D , but this is temporary..I thought about pinball rebirth or pinball revolution , i hesitate... if you have a better idea , you're welcome no website or wiki to post your questions, only here and at VPForums The player combining FP and VP is enough for me If you want to help , you can have a look at LVR tools and create the editor

If that is a joke, it's not funny. If that is not a joke it is not appropriate on either forums.
