Ok - so I'm trying to understand what VPX is vs. the general previously known Visual Pinball. Can someone provide a brief introduction?

State the obvious :-) its version 10 (X) versus version 9. It adds more objects for authors and adds dynamic lighting. Improved physics and general playability. It *cannot* play version 9 tables - it can load them but not play them. Just think of it as an update to VP. Work is well underway for version 10.1 as the beta is posted in the forums.
