So we use:
if BallsOnPlayfield = 1 then attach Shadow1 to ball in plungerkicker

If BallsOnPlayfield = 2 then attach Shadow 2 etc...

each shadow image is a "miniplayfield"

This is something that come to my mind by the time I was scripting the 3 balls shadows, but also there are a issue, we use a lot of .destroyball, in almost all the kickers that have a "pseudo tunel to other place" even in drain, so if you destroy the ball 2 for example having 3 balls on playfield and then create the same ball the number 3 is already out there, and now the new ball 3 will take the shadow of the previous number 3.

Sounds confucing, thats how it works in my mind

Ya sounds like another "shell game" but still it should work...The main obstacle is knowing which ball specifically is hitting the drain
ballA vs ballB

I think I ran into this before

If we know the ball Id and we know which shadow it holds then we simply release the shadow when the ball is destroyed and reassign it to the next ball that is created...

I have asked Rav if this could be a Bam feature...
Who knows? a ball with a shadow is not entirely unlike a "custom ball" which Bam already permits..in essence this is assigning a skin to each ball...so why not a shadow too ?
