You can change gravity settings in the script and that will effect bounce.
I am away from my computer for 2 weeks so I can't show you....

But you just go to Bam menu under miniplayfield/gravity settings and press control+c to create code
And control+v to paste to script

sorry bob, but that's not what I meant.....this is another matter.

I wanted to say, if it is possible, to change the elasticity, as appropriate.....with a specific command like xbam.gameroom = tru or false.....I have two playfields, one(main-play) in elasticity, I put 0.1200.....in the other(play-vertical) much less.

then I ask someone, who knows, and then explain to me if he wants to....that the custom ball, can be called in the script, usually xbam ... bla..bla ...

thanks

Just play with the elasticity (hard-intermediate-soft).

ok,but,in a wall, with rubber material, I can not put elasticity (hard-intermediate-soft)......

that's why I was asking with bam :D

Yes
Lots of options!
Let us use the NES table as an example

We used BAM Physics Tweaks and changed Elasticity coefficient on Hard Rubber surfaces

*Note this will now effect ALL surfaces using hard rubber on BOTH playfields

So if you want each playfield to have its own elasticity for rubber then :

1.As Popotte suggested, choose intermediate or soft rubber for the other playfield

OR

2. BAM does allow each playfield to have its own Gravity settings using xBAM.gravity

OR

3.Use xBAM.BallManager and make custom balls on each playfield with unique "mass"

OR

4.Here is what I would try. Choose a different material that you won't be using on this table. For instance "wood". Then go to Physics Tweaks and select "wood" and set all of the parameters to the same as hard rubber and then save XML. Then choose "wood" as your material for the vertical MP

After you save XML,
You have to exit Future Pinball and reload for new xml settings to work...

But don't use wall, use rubber: just create a "wall" with Milkshape and with FPM, just create it as a rubber...

@thanks bob,I have to deepen what you wrote to me...

@thankd jp,excellent solution  , if I had thought about it before, I would have been much easier, do it, but now I have many walls,in pinball nes, and to make the ball repel, I used several emkickers .......but I'm still on time to fix it.

If wood is an option for wall material, my suggestion will work...and you won't need to redo any walls ( just change material choice from rubber to wood)

But you have to change material for all the wood guide (more more easy). And with rubber, you can have 2 possibilities, but it's not my table.

Yes
That's why I suggested a material he isn't going to use on that table
The XML file is only for that table

It's not my table either :)
and the question /reason for this thread is how to do things with BAM
(Not Milkshake and FP model editor)...

The end result may be the same...but we are trying new things
