ok,bob,the solution of popotte, is not bad, indeed it is excellent, but for the moment, I will take a long time, to redo all the walls, in rubber model,I keep it in mind.

so let's go back to your three points...I would like to avoid touching the mini gravity,I do not understand well, the third point,but I would like to understand better, the fourth point.

but for first,I do not understand, the answer of popotte, that is But you have to change material for all the wood guide (more more easy). And with rubber, you can have 2 possibilities

and consequently I do not understand your answer....
That's why I suggested a material he isn't going to use on that table
The XML file is only for that table

I have not understood yet what I should do, sorry if I say this,my friends

Popotte uses "wood" for wood guides on some tables, so he does not want to steal it as I am suggesting.

If you use his method (create a wall in milkshape and make it a rubber in Future Pinball model editor, then this "Wall Rubber" will have 3 choices (soft ,intermediate and hard rubber)
But because you are already using hard rubber , you have 2 independent choices remaining (soft and intermediate rubber)

Paolo, are any of your table objects using "wood" as their material in FP table editor?

If not then we can trick FP by changing "wood"
settings in the BAM "physics tweaks menu"
To the same settings as rubber (Elastcoef etc...)

Now "wood" will behave the same as "rubber" for this table.

So then you can have walls in one playfield be "rubber" and walls in the other be "wood"

"Wood", "Rubber" and "Metal" in FP are really all the same.

They are simply recipes of elastcoef etc...
and with Bam "physics tweaks" we can change the recipes

The trick should work, but I am away from a computer . .

Just look at the image above
You should see:
Material :
< rubberhardmat>
softnesscoef .040
elastcoef 2.0
static friction .01000
kinetic friction .02000

There should be option for:
<woodmat>
softnesscoef .....
elastcoef ......
static friction .......
kinetic friction ......

Make these same as hard rubber and use your new elastcoef setting

Now select :
save tablename.xml

ok, but my problem, remains, I do not use wooden guides, but where are these wooden guides? I have walls, in all the table, and these walls I put them in rubber, ok

Image
as you know, it is not possible to put them in (soft ,intermediate and hard rubber).

now in bam, I put value in elasticity, I put 0.1200, which goes to adjust all my walls, now in the maim.playfield, it is excellent the repulse of the ball,of the wall but
in the vertical play instead it is too much, and here the problem, I do not want that to be too strong repulse in the play-vertical, so I ask what the solution?

how do I understand I have to put the walls, in wood in the play-vertical? is this the solution?what you tell me....

I think you have to play with .SetGravity...

Don't you understand my last post?

You don't need to add anything

Look at your picture above.
On the right side of FP table editor change "material type" to "wood"

Tell me when you have done that and then I will tell you the final step...

not so much....ok, but on the whole table, main-play, and play-vertical?

Let's choose
1. Leave main-play the same (Rubber)
2.change vertical Mp material to wood

Let me know when you've done it

I am going out for 5 hours
