I recently separated out my table collection into Physics 2.5 ready tables and tables for the original .exe; here's the list. Most of these are MODs by Slamt1lt (and available via his Twitter account), which he said work great with it. Please feel free to add tables that you know were created/tested w/ 2.5 in mind.

Update 11/20/2013: I have attached a zip file containing all the tables XML file for 2.5 Physics to be used with BAM. Just put the XML alongside the table using the below naming convention and launch BAM's FPLOADER.exe and choose the table.

Nice idea but are you sure that all of these tables are optimized for 2.5? As far as I know are the most ones still untouched and optimized for version 2.4...

yep... I also think so. These are just Vip tables. slam is working on that he said but they are not all published yet.

And... will this list always be up to date in the future !? I dont think so....

Regarding Police Force, i haven't do any modifications for 2.5. As far as i know (i have played 2-3 games with 2.5) is playable, but the skill-shot most of the times gives you the max value... Most probably this can be fixed by reducing the power of the plunger.

I've gone into all my FP tables, 150+ and adjusted the slope and rubbers. I've been playing as normal and haven't found any glaring issues yet. The ball weight has the greatest potential of causing problems especially when you get a really good flip into a non standard area. Sometimes the ball will fly through a wall but that has happened and still is on the normal exe. I've increased the flipper strength on a couple of tables where it seemed theweight of the ball was holding it back when going up certain ramps.

2.5 has taken away all my physics concerns with FP, I'm going "all in".

Highfive!!! Double work is better work. XD

2.5 rocks. FB has never been as close to my real pinball machine

Some of my 2.5 table building observations:

Wall guides. These must now be set to at least 2 width. Balls will sometimes get stuck or pass through Wall Guides set at only 1 width.

Bumpers: The ball jumps a lot more in the bumpers. So an invisible layer set to 40 (low) 42 (high) is essential to stop the ball jumping up onto plastics. Tip: generate a hit event for this invisible layer and assign a ball drop sound to it so each time the ball jumps it makes a realistic ball drop sound, just like the real thing.

Flippers: Bridge the gap between the Flipper Feed Lane and the start of the Flipper with an invisible wall so the ball rolls smoothly onto the flipper for much great accuracy.

Plunger: Don't adjust the plunger strength. If it needs more power move the plunger model up the table. Less power move the plunger model down the table. Adjusting the strength only fires the ball like a missile!

Rubbers: All rubbers set to soft otherwise the ball won't bounce around the table as much which is the whole point of pinball!

These are the tables that Slam said he had tested w/ 2.5 and work fine (along w/ post 2.5 'proper' releases). I've released MameUI uninterrupted for 16 years, so I'll follow up on this. ;) At any rate it's meant to foster discussion and be a jumping off point for folks wanting to collect 2.5 ready tables.

WTF?!
Hahaha, so tweaking all my tables (just rubbers to soft and slope to 7-8) was not enough...
Nice.
Triple-work is better work.
Luckily I will just have to reload them (when they are available and resize them and my PinDMD a fifth time or so...)

But never mind. Thanks for your work, Slam
