Hello everyone.
I know I have been away for a while and out of the pinball scene as well
Long story short. Sold my cab, bought a real Williams Space shuttle. End of story.

Built a shooter Cab

I have reprise my game for PC Cabinet with light guns. I know, this is a pinball emulation forum. Just sharing in case anyone have a similar setup at home with Aimtrak gun. No need to bash please...

Anyway, here we love to play gun games like Point blank or ghouls panic, where you have small challenges just like a gun range. various targets to shoot at..nothing overly complicated.

Also I wanted something for the Christmas party which you could play with any kids around. No blood, gore or nudity. A competitive mode where you can have up to four simultaneous players challenging each other is also a must for me because in a party, you want to include as much people as you can.

So here it is so far. I have built it in 2 parts, the main console who act as a menu
and the game themselves. If anyone have a cab with guns and want to test it, feel free to PM me and I will send you the program to try. I only have 3 mini games/level so far but planning to make many more until Xmas so the ride could be fun.

I've been trying to figure out how light guns work since my cousin showed me one for the Intelivision (Duck Hunt or something?) when we were kids.

You try using the grocery store self-checkout lanes yet? I was told that a lazer read the bar code, but if you scan a Starbucks coffee drink (the metal one), or a can of soda, the bar code doesn't even have to face the scanner for it to read it.

Guess they must just use metallic paint. Owwww! The web of lies I must endure in this life. Have they no conscious? Can they say anything to anyone no matter how horrible?

Next thing I know, I'll find out that a CD player uses magnets to read, and not lazers. And that (gasp), CRT tvs didn't use lazers to paint the screen one line at a time, but just RGBed bitmaps onto a screen.

Terminator II was MY favorite gun arcade game tho (with it's sporty Uzis versus robot gun setup). But I'll always remember shooting CDs in that NWO versus Aerosmith game too...

That's pretty damn cool. I was hoping to build a 'racing' cab this year, but I'm running out of time. Maybe next year. All driving games on one cabinet would be sweet.
