I have published the first Bam function here (minimal explanations and demonstrative table):
viewtopic.php?f=86&t=6569
I hope others will add other functions / commands. in the site we should not ask questions or clarifications, but only Commands.
We can do the discussions here
Greetings

Gianfranco

Here is "beta" of new BAM-setup:
http://www.ravarcade.pl/beta/BAM-setup.exe

List of things already done:
1. \Program Files - warning before FP is installed. I can't modify FP installed, so i can't forbid user to do it.
2. FP settings modified after when BAM is installed:
Editor: LoadImagesIntoEditor - unchecked
Editor: NumberShapePoints - unchecked
Editor: PolygonInfo - unchecked
GamePlayer: BallDirt - checked
GamePlayer: CpuAffinity - unchecked
GamePlayer: ModelRenderQuality - "High"
After installation user still can change this params.
Only way to "lock" that settings is to hardcode it in BAM. BAM will overwrite on every start. I don't like it.
3. About overwritnig configurations. I have found, that only default.seq can be overwrite by old BAM-setup. In new version it will not.
(If you find, that any settings was deleted when you reinstall/update BAM, when i need to know exacly what it is).
4. Path to FP is now extracted from windows registry. BAM-setup will check, if at that place is "Future Pinball.exe". If file is missing or FP was newer installed, it will download FP installer and run it.
5. You can "skip" installation of FP or force it (if you press Download Future Pinball button).
6. I have added to BAM installer few things:
- we can replace "New Table" in FP. In can be enabled/disabled on select component page.
- we can add more demo tables to FP/Tables dir. That tables are added to "last-loaded-tables" in Files FP menu.

Things i decide not to do:
1. I don't want to create link to BAM on desktop with "admin rights".
Why? On Windows 10, when you run any app with admin rights, you are prompted to accept it. It will be problem for users with lunchers. Also, if you are loged in Windows as user with admin rights, you don't need to run FPLoader.exe as admin.

Things i don't know how:
1. "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings". Maybe i will add it later.

This "beta" BAM-setup is builded with "BAM.dll v193". It has few fixes in UI in "mini-playfield" menu and it support lattitude-longitude texture mapping for "dirt" texture on balls. Here is video:

I think most new players tend to not review any settings so this should help.

I'll check it.

Cool! So I presume those of us that have replaced the "Future Pinball.exe" won't have to replace it again when we perform an update.

Some of the guys might like it to install all of your demo tables. ...Or is a list of these saved on your site somewhere?

During the work, after 3/4 restarts of the table, the system crashes.

No I did not see it. I try to reinstall Bam.

Reinstalled.
The program automatically chooses the dir c: / Program File (x86).
If I change dir ,the program always installs Itself in c: / Program File (x86)

Greetings

I have quality issues with DMD textures on some Slam tables (Bally Star Trek, Jaws, etc.) using Zed 64bit FP. I’ve always just used 32bit for clean performance on all tables. Running 64bit Win 7 and 64bit Win 10.

Lovely idea on the installer, though. I guess us more intermediate/advanced users can just come back after the install and replace the executable with one of the other flavors if need be.
