I installed EMET with automatic setup. I will let you know .

But Rafal, until the 185 Bam version I never (I repeat never) had this problem.

@Popotte: I don't remember... i don't have BAM_Crash.log from you?
I belive you have problem with scritpt and .SetTexture command.
It is different problem than for Franzleo.

Rafal,

Popotte and I verified that using "xBAM.SetTexture" in the script makes Future Pinball crash on his PC using Windows 7.

DEP prevented me from running vanilla FP (without BAM), this might apply to code injection stuff in general so try to disable it if you haven't.

How to Verify the Status of DEP:
Run the Command Prompt as Admin, then use the following command:
wmic OS Get DataExecutionPrevention_SupportPolicy

A status code will be returned. The status of the DEP is corresponding with the code listed in table below:

Code Number Flag Status
0 AlwaysOff DEP is disabled for all processes.
1 AlwaysOn DEP is enabled for all processes.
2 OptIn DEP is enabled for essentials Windows programs and services only. Default setting.
3 OptOut DEP is enabled for all processes except for excluded programs and services.

You can disable Data Execution Prevention (DEP) globally in Windows (7 and likely above). To stop DEP, launch an elevated command prompt with admin rights, right click on Command Prompt (cmd) icon and select Run as Administrator. Then use the following:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

If you regret your decision and want to turn back on DEP, simply use this command instead:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx OptIn

DON'T FORGET TO RESTART WINDOWS AFTER THE CHANGES OR NOTHING WILL CHANGE. GOT TO REBOOT FIRST.

PS: EMET got nothing to do with this, it's either Windooze or sloppy coding.

Unfortunately, the Bam crash continues even if I make your change.
Thanks anyway.

Unfortunately (I repeat) up to the version 185/186 (not 100% sure) of Bam, everything worked fine. After this version all the others crashed.

Just to let everyone, that i work on this.

@Popotte:
Qustion: That crash from your last BAM_crash.log, happend first run or after few plays (F5 -> ESC -> F5 -> ESC, .... )?
If it happend after many plays, when i belive it is same problem....

@franzleo, @Popotte, @wild:
I have found another patter to reproduce crash:
Here is pattern:
1. Start FP w/BAM.
2. Load simple table (like FP new table)
3. F5, ... wait until table is fully loaded and stop moving (~3 second after you can see table)
4. ESC
5. Repeate step 3 and 4 many times.

On my computer,
- after ~15 repeat i can see missing textures (grey)
- after next 2-5 (~18 loop) it crashes
I have few different BAM_Crash.log. They are not important.
I checked Windows Event Log (Aplication). Before FP crash entry i can see few "out of memory" messages from nvidia opengl drivers. This entry alway is just before crash.

On one test, when i see "grey" textures i try to use Save As ... from FP menu. It works fine, but in file explorer i see black squares instead of FP table icons.... strange.

I tested BAM releases with same result: 194, 193, 191, 190, 185, 183, 180

.... and version 162 passed this test (well... i repeated it ~40 times).
Between 162 and 180 we have month .... it will be hard to find problem.

Please note: On different computer/different table/different gfx card or drivers number of repeats may be different.
Also some drivers may not log "out of memory" error.

Anyway... finally i have clue.

I need confirmation from @Franzleo or @Popotte or @Wild that last working version is 162 and next broken is 180.
Here are links:
